I would just like to thank you for all of the work that you did to repair the problem with the screen on my computer. Any of the other companies that sell or manufacture computers would have just told me that I would have to replace the monitor or possibly even the entire computer. I was sure that I would never get to view my big, beautiful 17 inch laptop screen ever again.

I am in Michigan and you are in California. I was truly amazed that you could fix my problem from so far away (in fact, the video loss was due to a bad Windows Update). Anyone that is thinking about a new laptop computer should contact you rather than the big companies that don't care.

Considering how you have "come through" again and again, I can't give anything less than "rave reviews" for your support.

Great site, you guys seem to be the only ones that really offer an excellent selection of individual parts and a superb amount of customization for your machines!

A lot of the bigger mainstream companies have lost that customizable aspect of their computer line-up, and it's a shame.
There are some things I want upgraded to the max, and some things I want built to a lesser scale, and I want to be able to choose which elements of my machine to max out! Keep up the good work!

"This is all very satisfactory, thank you. And I must say, I'm thrilled with the laptop, it is an amazing piece of equipment, I have used it extensively (and, at times, rather brutally) to handle a monstrous workload that no machine I have ever owned could ever have accomplished.

What I am referring to is the video manipulation and audio mixing involved with the film editing field, along with the processing and rendering of complex graphical effects and the detailed authoring of intricate DVD menus with which to present these projects. It takes a serious workhorse of a computer to be efficient at these tasks, and this laptop is tremendously good at what it does. It's been a joy and a blessing to own this laptop (all three weeks that I've had it!), and in 2 or 3 years, when my desktop has worn itself thin, I will be coming to Overam for a B-Can.

I've told my friends I wouldn't shop anywhere else, and they can see the conviction in my eyes! When in need of some good quality computing at some really affordable prices, I'm sure they'll be looking you up.

I use the laptop professionally. I am a member of the School of Film and Television at Chapman University, and the laptop serves primarily as a mobile means of cutting digital video, rendering CGI effects, mixing audio, and composing/integrating musical scores into the production projects that take place at the university on a near-constant basis. My schedule has become increasingly busy, such that my personal desktop and the school's Avid labs are not able to serve my needs the way they ought to be.

I need to shoot my projects, and edit on the run as I seek to juggle a chaotic schedule, and only a laptop - and a powerful, competent one at that - could resolve my dilemma. That's why I was in the market for a mobile notebook to begin with. Again, thanks for everything. It has been my privilege to do business with Overam. The beautiful wide screen of the Mirage 5700 and its speed are very useful for my public presentations.
Its connectivity and mobility make it ideal for lectures, shows and meetings, especialy when considering the low cost involved.

After more than a year, this computer is proving to be a good investment.
